PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities arrested a Bucks County man on Thursday, accused of sexually assaulting three girls multiple times when they were between the ages of 3 and 11.

Officials said Bensalem police received a referral from a child welfare organization. Detectives interviewed a young girl who said 62-year-old Mohhamed Alam inappropriately touched her multiple times when she was between 7 and 11 years old.

Investigators said one of the incidents happened during a community event hosted at Alam’s home, where he allegedly lured the child to his bedroom with candy.

Two other juvenile girls were interviewed by police and recounted similar assaults.

One said the assaults happened between the ages of 5 and 8. The other said she was assaulted multiple times between the ages of 3 and 9.

Alam turned himself in on Thursday. He is out on bail awaiting trial on charges, including indecent assault and corruption of minors.

Bensalem police fear there may be more victims. Detectives encourage other potential victims to call them at 215-633-3669.
