LANGHORNE, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — The three teens who were killed in a car crash in Bucks County on Halloween night are being remembered by their family and friends.
Two of the victims went to Neshaminy High School, where counseling and other mental health resources have been made available for students, district officials said.
Three teens were killed in the crash in Warrington Township on Friday night. They were identified as Elkhan Saparbekov, 15, Kozyrev Artem, 16, and Aziz Amonov, 18. A fourth teen was critically injured.
It was not immediately made clear where the other victims went to school.
“It was a sad day. I’m still processing everything right now, so it’s kind of shocking,” Umar Urkumbaev, a friend of the victims, told NBC10 at a memorial for Saparbekov on Sunday.
Urkumbaev’s 14-year-old cousin was the fourth passenger in the car. He survived the crash and is in critical condition at the hospital.
“I witnessed firsthand the cries and the pains of their parents ’cause I was there with them,” Urkumbaev said.
Around 9:30 p.m. Friday, the teens were in a Toyota Camry, going east on Bristol Road near Barness Park in Warrington. Police said 15-year-old Sapbarhekov, who was too young to drive legally, lost control and slammed into the side of an oncoming Ford Explorer.
The SUV driver was not hurt.
As part of the ongoing investigation into the crash, the Bucks County crash team is expected to fully inspect both vehicles.
