PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are looking for two suspects involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Kensington early Wednesday morning.

Officials said the driver of a white Acura RDX was speeding when he blew through a red light at the intersection of F Street and Allegheny Avenue around 5:45 a.m., striking a 2008 Honda Accord.

A 62-year-old woman in the Honda, later identified as Jean Rodriguez, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died about an hour later.

Police said two males in the Acura got away on foot.

Rodriguez’s family is pleading with the people responsible to come forward.

“If you know in your heart that you’re a good person, I feel as though you should step forward and at least give us some type of justice,” said Rodriguez’s granddaughter, Jeannie Ramos.
