PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A murder suspect on Philadelphia’s “Most Wanted” list was captured by U.S. marshals Wednesday morning in Lansdowne, Delaware County.
The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force surrounded the Stratford Court Apartments at Lansdowne and Stratford avenues, where Tyvine Jones was believed to be hiding.
The 25-year-old was located and apprehended without incident. He was taken to the Philadelphia Homicide Detective Division for processing.
Officials said Jones was an alleged hitman and a member of the “Blumberg” gang. He was on Philadelphia’s “Most Wanted” list for three separate murders between 2020 and 2022. The victims — ages 16, 20 and 23 — were all shot and killed.
