PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Delaware is relaxing COVID-19 restrictions to allow larger outdoor gatherings.
As of Thursday morning, 150 people can be at an outdoor event at the same time, like a wedding or concert. More than that are allowed with the approval of the state’s health department.
This news comes as the popular Firefly Music Festival is now hinting on its website and on social media that it will return in September. The festival was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
Delaware is also removing the limit of two spectators per player at sporting events as of Thursday.
