PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Delaware County officials are reminding voters of some changes that have been made to the way ballots are cast as many head to the polls.
Things are anything but normal when it comes to voting this election, and in Pennsylvania, that includes voting in person.
“We're actually using paper ballots this year because we did that in the primary, which was really mandated by Gov. Wolf that all counties use voting equipment that has paper back up for each vote,” explained Marianne Jackson, interim director of elections in Delaware County.
She said there are a number of new and different polling locations throughout their county, and the county's website has a comprehensive readout for where you should vote.
“There's a map on there with different pin marks on where the different polling places are,” she added.
Jackson said you can also use that site to find the locations of the 40 drop off boxes throughout the county.
