SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A Deptford Township police officer remains in the intensive care unit at Cooper University Hospital two weeks after he was wounded in a shootout.
Officer Bobby Shisler, 27, suffered a critical gunshot wound on March 10 in Deptford Township while serving in the line of duty. He exchanged gunfire with 24-year-old Mitchell Negron Jr. after a pedestrian stop.
Negron Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shisler is still in the trauma intensive care unit, the Deptford Township Police Department posted on Facebook.
A GoFundMe page set up for Shisler has reached more than $116,000, exceeding its goal of $100,000.
