Driver crashes through front doors of hospital in South Jersey, police say

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman is facing charges after police said she slammed her car into a hospital in South Jersey on New Year’s Eve.

Around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said she drove through the front doors of the ambulance bay at Inspira Health Center in Bridgeton.

A security guard suffered a minor injury when he jumped out of the way of the car.

Police identified the driver as 38-year-old April Love, of New Castle, Delaware.

She is facing multiple charges, including assault by a motor vehicle.
