Five people died in what many are characterizing as open insurrection against the United States government. Democrats and a number of Republicans are calling for Trump to resign or be removed.

The Patriot Home Care Changemaker of the week is the Black Music City Project. In order to honor Philadelphia's rich Black music history, Philadelphia public music radio stations WXPN-FM and WRTI-FM, and REC Philly are working together to support this generation's creatives. Artists with ideas that highlight the city's Black music can apply for a grant of up to $3500. Applications are due January 25.
