PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A former Temple University fraternity president convicted of attempted sexual assault charges in February was sentenced Wednesday morning to years behind bars, plus probation.
Ari Goldstein will spend the next 3 1/2 to seven years in prison, already spending the last eight months in custody. He will also become a registered sex offender in the state.
A Philadelphia judge delivered the sentence after a hearing, where the victim in this case read aloud a statement outlining her ordeal.
His attorney says they plan to appeal the conviction.
