PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A public memorial has been set up for people to mourn the loss of Lower Merion Firefighter Tom Royds.

He was killed early Sunday after a vehicle hit him and three other first responders on I-76, the Schuylkill Expressway, near the Gladwyne exit.

People can come to a viewing on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lower Merion High School's auditorium at 315 East Montgomery Avenue in Ardmore.

Loved ones, firefighters and other first responders will take part afterward in a recessional and salute to Royds.

The driver who allegedly struck Royds, Jacquelyn Walker of South Jersey, faces charges of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.

The collision has increased the state's call for drivers to follow the Move Over Law.

Additionally, Gov. Tom Wolf has ordered all Pennsylvania flags in Montgomery County to fly at half staff until sunset on Saturday in honor of Royds.
