It all comes down to listening to the signals that your body sends. Those who endorse intuitive eating say one of the biggest advantages is a focus on body image is put in the rear-view mirror.
Recognizing hunger cues like grumblings in your stomach and pangs that worsen over time is crucial, but it is just as important to recognize emotional hunger and not fall victim.
Some signs of emotional hunger include specific cravings, a sudden desire for food, and a quiet stomach.
