PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Twenty years to the day after a man and woman went missing in South Philadelphia after a night out on the town, investigators are still stumped.

It was on Feb. 19, 2005, when Richard Petrone, 35, and Danielle Imbo, 34, left a bar on South Street for Petrone’s black 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck — and vanished. The two haven’t been seen or heard from since and are presumed dead.

At the time, Imbo, who lived in South Jersey, worked in the mortgage industry and was in the process of ending her marriage. Petrone was living in Ardmore above his family’s bakery, where he worked. Both of them were parents: Imbo had a young son and Petrone had a teen daughter.

The two had known each other since high school. According to federal investigators, the two were dating.

Over the years, there were many leads, though none were fruitful. Investigators also searched the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers for Petrone’s truck, but it was never found.

The FBI has led the investigation since 2008 and is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information has been asked to call authorities.
