Here are key updates: The delta variant moves extremely fast — faster than the common cold and numerous viruses. It moves about the speed of chickenpox before the vaccine was developed.
We now know you can spread the virus whether vaccinated or not. We also know that the vaccine gives 10 times the protection of not being vaccinated. So, if a person is not vaccinated, they are at far greater risk than any time during this pandemic. The virus spreads faster and everyone can spread it.
If you were hesitant about getting the vaccine, time is not on your side anymore. The odds are increasingly against the unvaccinated.
