PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia authorities arrested a man in Puerto Rico for a North Philadelphia homicide that happened about a year and a half ago.
The homicide fugitive task force took Amir Studevan into custody after they say he fled to Puerto Rico following the murder of Samuel Rosario in February 2023.
The 36-year-old victim was found shot several times in the stomach on the sidewalk near 13th Street and Lehigh Avenue, less than a block from his home. He died at the hospital.
Studevan has been extradited to Philadelphia, where he faces murder and weapons charges.
