PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police arrested a man nearly two weeks after they say he struck a woman with his car and fled, leaving her with a fractured skull and other critical injuries.

On Wednesday, police arrested 33-year-old Curtis Moss. He is charged with aggravated assault by vehicle and related offenses for a hit-and-run on Dec. 29 in North Philadelphia.

Around 9:30 that evening, 25-year-old Hayley Worell was struck by a dark gray Nissan as she was walking across Broad Street at Susquehanna Avenue, police said. The driver did not stop.

She suffered a fractured skull and hip.

Police recovered the car last week.
