PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was shot several times in North Philadelphia Friday night.

Police say it happened just before 11 p.m. after a fight broke out between two men inside a convenience store on the 3300 block of North Front Street.

The men then left the store, and the 44-year-old victim got in a car and drove east on Lehigh Avenue, then north on Front Street. The suspect, who police say was wearing a white shirt, followed.

As the victim turned east onto Ontario Street, the suspect fired shots into the driver's side of his car.

The 44-year-old sustained gunshot wounds to both arms and his leg. He drove himself to a nearby hospital, where he is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
