PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Officials have identified a man who was found dead in a suitcase in Kensington last week. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Authorities said the dismembered body of 53-year-old Vincent Good, of Northeast Philadelphia, was discovered on the morning of May 22 by someone who was searching for scrap metal in an alley on East Hilton Street, near E Street. Police said the individual found a human torso inside a suitcase.
Police officers who responded to the scene found more human remains in the early stages of decomposition inside two large trash bags.
The medical examiner said Good died from numerous gunshot wounds.
Sources told KYW Newsradio that police have four persons of interest in custody and are questioning them in connection with the case.
