SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A 32-year-old Voorhees man pleaded guilty Monday to first-degree aggravated manslaughter for a crash that killed a woman in Atlantic County in 2024.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said Stephen Sirch was under the influence of multiple substances, including fentanyl, and was driving more than 100 mph when he struck and killed 29-year-old Karina Castillo of Clementon. Three people in a third vehicle were also injured.

The crash happened in April 2024 on the Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township.

As part of the plea deal, Sirch will be sentenced to 15 years in prison at a hearing in March.
