PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 39-year-old man is dead after he was shot 20 times in West Philadelphia Friday, police say.
Authorities say it happened around 6:15 p.m. at a corner store on 51st and Hadfield streets, where Police Capt. Anthony Mirabella, Jr. says one suspect went inside the store and shot the victim while a second suspect remained outside.
The victim was then rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead less than 15 minutes later.

Mirabella says investigators are still looking for the two suspects who fled the scene.
"We have two males who fled southbound on South 51st Street from Hadfield,” Mirabella told NBC10. “That's the only description we have."
No other injuries have been reported.
