PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are looking for the person who shot a man in the buttocks early Friday morning in the Lawncrest section of Northeast Philadelphia.
It happened on Sanger Street, just off Rising Sun Avenue.
Around 3:30 a.m., responding officers found a 30-year-old man shot once in the buttocks. They found him more than 2 miles away from the shooting scene, along Cheltenham Avenue, near Fifth Street, in East Oak Lane.
The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Officers later identified Sanger Street as the shooting scene.
No arrests have been made. The offender was wearing a black hoodie and all-black clothing, police said.
