PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Phoenixville, Chester County, are warning residents about a man who escaped custody and is considered to be dangerous.
Jairo Eliazar Ramirez-Lima fled on foot from Phoenixville Hospital around 7 a.m. Saturday, shortly after being arrested on a DUI charge, authorities said.
Police say there is no active threat to the public, but Ramirez-Lima has a history of violence and weapons offenses. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black sneakers, and handcuffs.
East Pikeland Township Police posted photos of Ramirez-Lima on their Facebook.
