PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A pizza delivery driver was carjacked in North Philadelphia Friday.
According to our newsgathering partners at NBC10, it happened near 16th and Clearfield streets just before 8 p.m.
They said the driver left his car — a Jeep — running with his 14-year-old son inside while making a delivery. A man then jumped in the car and drove off with the kid inside.
The 14-year-old escaped, and officers later recovered the car and arrested the alleged carjacker.
