PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The more consistent your sleep habits are, the better it is for your blood pressure.

When you move your bed time around, it can have an impact on the internal body clock. Your circadian rhythm can have an effect on the release of hormones and blood pressure regulation.

Another concern is the relationship between stress, medical issues and sleep disorders like sleep apnea, all of which can have a huge impact on getting to sleep and getting quality sleep.
The best approach is to aim for as consistent of a pattern as possible with similar bedtimes and hours of sleep each night. A consistent approach is best.
