PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Montgomery County man has been indicted on charges of impersonating an FBI agent.
Prosecutors said 54-year-old Seok Joon Lee, of Jenkintown, identified himself as an FBI agent to security in a Philadelphia supermarket on April 22.
Lee proceeded to do a security check of the store, authorities said, with a bulletproof vest and a holstered gun loaded with 13 rounds of ammo.
When speaking with Philadelphia police, he claimed he was an undercover agent, and his credentials could be found somewhere else.
If convicted, Lee could face up to three years in prison.
