PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Bucks County man has been arrested for allegedly attacking and strangling a woman during a road rage incident in North Wildwood, New Jersey according to officers.

A woman claims she spotted the man driving aggressively and tailgating near the corner of 13th and New Jersey avenues on Aug. 20.

North Wildwood Police say she rolled down her window and said something to him.

The two pulled over and walked toward each other, which is when police say the man, identified as Christopher Krier, 49 from Jamison, Pennsylvania, attacked the woman.

Investigators say at one point he strangled her. A bystander then stepped in, and Krier reportedly ran off.

Krier turned himself in to police several days later and is now in jail. He's facing aggravated assault-related charges.
