PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three men have been arrested and charged with the fatal shooting of a gas station clerk in Tacony.
Chihean Jones, 38, from Philadelphia; Robert Miller-Crafter, 25, from Chester; and Keyon Vincent, 21, from Philadelphia, each face charges including murder, robbery, criminal conspiracy and tampering with evidence.
Siboram Patro, 66, was shot and killed at about 4 a.m. on Jan. 17 at the Exxon Gas Station on Torresdale Avenue and Wellington Street.
“We have three males of interest, and we believe we should be able to bring this to a close,” said Philadelphia Police Staff Inspector Ernest Ransom.
The suspects were captured on surveillance video. Police said just after the shooting, they broke through the locked door separating Patro from the customers.
“Three males entered the store. One of the males produced a weapon and shot the store clerk,” said Ransom on Wednesday. Patro was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ransom said that after the shooting, the men then continued to rob the store. Investigators on scene just after the robbery said that the men removed the cash register from the office.
