BETHLEHEM, P.A. (KYW Newsradio) — A Philadelphia man was arrested Wednesday in Bethlehem after police said he shot at another driver in an alleged road rage incident.

Jaime Alexander Paramo-Zamudio, 36, is charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault after authorities said he fired a handgun through a woman’s windshield while stopped at a red light at the intersection of Linden Street and Johnston Drive in Bethlehem.

Authorities said the shooting happened early Wednesday morning and that the woman wasn’t hit, but did suffer minor injuries from the shattered glass. They said the bullet also missed her 15-year-old son, who was sitting in the passenger seat.

Police do not know what led up to the shooting, and identified Paramo-Zamudio after reviewing footage of the incident from two nearby school buses.

He is being held at Northampton County Prison without bail.
