PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three people were killed Saturday morning in Wilmington, Delaware, after a man charged with driving under the influence struck their vehicle.
Wilmington police said they responded to the crash around 4:18 a.m. and found a 48-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, and a 41-year-old man dead inside a car.
Officials said the driver of the striking vehicle, 30-year-old Nicholas Resto, was taken into custody and treated at a hospital in stable condition.
Police said Resto faces three counts of manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol. He is being held on $105,200 bail.
