PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Police are investigating a Monday-morning ATM explosion in West Philadelphia.

When officers got to the area of 50th Street and W. Market Street, just outside Sammy's Sports Bar, around one a.m., they say the money box was cut out of the ATM there. An accelerant was inside, and the top of the machine had been removed.

The police department's bomb squad was called to the scene. Nobody was injured. Police are checking surveillance cameras in the area.
