PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two people are dead in what police call an apparent domestic murder-suicide overnight in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia.
Authorities say they responded just after 12 a.m. on Saturday to reports of shots fired at an apartment on Roosevelt Boulevard near Front Street.
They found a 29-year-old woman, identified as Katie Dales, lying on a mattress with multiple gunshots to the head. A 27-year-old man was found close to her, shot once in the mouth with a gun nearby.
Both adults were pronounced dead at the scene. Two children, ages six and four, were found in the apartment unharmed.
Police say the investigation is still active.
