PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for two men they said robbed and shot a man in North Philadelphia Saturday evening.
Authorities said it was after 11 p.m. when the pair approached a 38-year-old man at 3200 N. 6th St. and robbed him.
There, police said, one of the two shot the victim in his ankle.
The man was taken to the hospital and placed in stable condition.
Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-3 with a slim build, short hair, and a beard. He was last seen wearing red and black clothing and was reportedly armed with a firearm. The second suspect is a Black man in his mid-30s with a tall, heavy build, last seen wearing all-black clothing and a black mask.
