PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Our region has been a real animal planet this week. First, a rogue horse turned I-95 into a race course. Now, police safely captured a rogue ram that was on the lam in South Jersey.
The Mount Laurel Police Department said on Thursday that it was aware of a ram roaming the area and hoped to identify the owner.
Friday morning, police said they safely captured the animal in a backyard on Horseshoe Drive.
"After a fairly extensive foot pursuit the Ram was reunited with his owner in Mount Laurel," the department posted on Facebook.
