Philadelphia Police have made a second arrest in connection with a mass shooting that wounded eight people at a lounge in South Philly earlier this month.
Police say 22-year-old Nino Dasilvio of Darby, Delaware County, was involved in the July 5 shooting at the 7 Elements Lounge at 11th Street and Washington Avenue.
A warrant for Dasilvio's arrest was issued last week, and he surrendered to U.S. Marshals Thursday afternoon.
He faces charges including assault and weapons offenses.
According to officials, it was shortly before 4 a.m. when an argument escalated to a knife fight. Attempts to break up the fight by security guards led to shots being fired.
Eight people between 25- and 43-years-old were shot. All of them physically recovered at the hospital.
43-year-old security guard Michael Welton was arrested two weeks ago. He admitted to police to firing his weapon at the scene on the morning of the shooting.
City officials have revoked the nightclub's license.
