PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A SEPTA bus slid backward down an icy hill and hit a fire hydrant and a parked car in Manayunk during Monday night’s snowfall.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Manayunk Avenue and Burnside Street.
Video obtained by NBC10 shows the Route 27 bus losing traction and slowly spinning sideways as it goes down the hill.
SEPTA said there were no injuries, but the bus retained minor damage.
Many bus lines are detoured on Tuesday due to snow and icy conditions.
