PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Brian Zenszer, 44, of Warminster, Bucks County, pleaded guilty after the FBI arrested and charged him last December.

Zenszer admitted to knowingly distributing a visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Around Nov. 6, 2024, he had sexually explicit depictions of minors, including some younger than 12 years old, on a cellphone.

Investigators determined Zenszer was running two accounts on the messaging app Kik that had uploaded child sex abuse material after a tipster alerted them last August.

Zenszer will be sentenced on July 29 and faces between five and 40 years in prison.

Zenszer had worked as a SEPTA police officer. At the time of his arrest, the agency called the allegations “disturbing” and said they were fully cooperating with law enforcement.
