PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Bucks County are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman along a popular walking trail in broad daylight over the weekend.
Investigators said a woman was attacked Saturday afternoon along the Delaware Canal Towpath in Bristol Township.
It happened around 2 p.m. on a stretch of the nearly 60-mile pathway between Haines and Edgely roads. Troopers said the victim was approached by a man she didn’t know and was attacked.
The woman was hospitalized. Her condition has not been released.
The suspect has not been identified. Pennsylvania State Police ask anyone with information to come forward.
