PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Dozens of new charges of child sexual abuse have been filed against a Skippack Township supervisor and day care owner, who is already facing charges in Maryland for allegedly soliciting a minor online. He is now accused of sexually assaulting a boy for nearly a decade.

Fifty-seven charges have been filed against 38-year-old Nicholas Fountain, including 10 first-degree felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 16.

Fountain was arrested on Sept. 25 for other charges. He is accused of sending illicit messages to someone he thought was a 14-year-old boy but was actually a detective in Hartford County, Maryland.

According to charging documents, while Pennsylvania State Police troopers were serving warrants related to last month’s arrest, a victim came forward and said Fountain had sexually abused him, starting in 2016 when he was 9 years old and continuing until he was 16 in 2023.

Fountain admitted to the allegations, according to charging documents.

The affidavit of probable cause said the victim also told investigators that Fountain exposed him to pornography at a young age, showing him images while the two were watching a children’s show on Nickelodeon.

Fountain is being held without bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for later this month.

Fountain is on the Board of Supervisors in Skippack Township and owns two day care centers — Magnolia Enrichment Center in Skippack and Magnolia Children’s Academy in Gilbertsville.

In a brief court appearance on Monday, Fountain waived extradition to Maryland. Prosecutors said his charges in Pennsylvania must be dealt with before he can be sent out of state.
