The Food and Drug Administration said the recalled Chocolate Kandy Kakes were distributed on May 11 in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia.

The packages have an “enjoy by” date of June 5, 2023, with the universal product code 0 25600 00225 4.

Flowers Foods voluntarily recalled the items after the company discovered some packages of Chocolate Kandy Kakes contained Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes.

The FDA said no illnesses or incidents have been reported. Affected consumers should throw the snacks away or return them for a full refund.
