PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police arrested a teenager in connection to a shooting at the Christiana Mall earlier this month in Delaware.
Delaware State Police said the 17-year-old boy turned himself in on Tuesday, and he is facing several charges, including facilitating a riot.
On April 8, investigators said three people physically assaulted an 18-year-old man near the food court entrance to the mall.
The victim’s friends got involved in the fight, and one of the suspects fired his gun, hitting the 18-year-old and a 16-year-old boy. Another 18-year-old was struck outside.
All three are in stable condition.
Police did not name the teen who was arrested. Investigators are still working to identify the other two suspects.
