PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three teenagers were gunned down in separate shootings overnight, including one who is fighting for his life.
The first shooting happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday at 60th and Spruce streets in Southwest Philadelphia. A 17-year-old girl was hit in the eye. She is expected to physically recover.
Then in North Philadelphia around 11:30 p.m., an 18-year-old male was shot in the leg on Randolph Street, just north of Girard Avenue. He was taken to the hospital and will also recover.
Shortly after midnight, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the chest in Kensington. It happened along Lippincott Street, near Kensington Avenue.
He is still fighting for his life in the hospital.
Police are still looking for the gunmen in each of the shootings.
