A week after a small plane’s stunning crash into the main commercial corridor of Northeast Philadelphia on Jan. 31, some questions have been answered, but many remain. Unified in grief and resolve
On Wednesday, more than 600 people gathered at a Town Hall meeting to hear about what help the city is offering for residents recovering from last weekend’s plane crash that killed seven people, injured 24, and decimated homes in Northeast Philadelphia. An inside take
Before the Kansas City Chiefs, there was Penn football. Prior to that, Joe Valerio was a standout at Ridley High School. The Delco native spent six seasons in the NFL, his first five in Kansas City, then one more in St. Louis. Even though he eventually made his way back to Philadelphia after his playing career, Valerio has maintained ties to the Chiefs as a podcast host. The 55-year-old visited KYW Newsradio studios to recap Kansas City’s season, and share why he thinks the Eagles will beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
