I-95 collapse: Have businesses recovered?

This week marked one year since a truck crashed on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia, causing an explosion that collapsed a stretch of the major highway and killed the truck’s driver. The area is fully reopened now, but the closure was a huge disruption for nearby businesses. We hear about a new report on what caused the explosion, and KYW Newsradio’s Justin Udo — who was at the scene right after it happened — caught up with some of those businesses to see how they’re doing now.

Giant spiders are flying into South Jersey!

Bad news for anyone who doesn’t like creepy crawly creatures… A species of giant spiders native to Asia is moving its way up the east coast and could reach South Jersey this summer. The Joro Spider can grow up to four inches, and its babies use webbing to essentially fly. KYW Newsradio’s Conner Barkon tells us what we can expect if and when these spiders arrive.
