Trenton firefighter grazed by bullet in firehouse, police say

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A firefighter in Trenton was grazed by a bullet after a shooting near the city’s Engine 1 firehouse on Calhoun Road, police said.

It happened just after 8:30 p.m. Investigators said officers were responding to a report of 12 shots fired.

Police told KYW Newsradio that 11 rounds were found at the scene, and the 12th bullet grazed the firefighter’s left arm while he was in the station’s weight room.

The firefighter is in stable condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
