PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have arrested and charged one of three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting in North Philadelphia Wednesday that injured seven.
Police arrested 23-year-old Tyheed Harvey of East Germantown Friday night as he attempted to get inside a charcoal gray Acura TSX that was under surveillance. Police had been searching for that car since Wednesday, when it was caught on camera at the scene of the shooting at Bambrey and Somerset streets.
On Thursday, authorities found that car on Morton and Duval streets in East Germantown, near Mallery Playground.
Seven people, ranging in age from 16 to 46, were injured in the shooting. All are in stable condition except for a 19-year-old who was shot in the back. Police say he is critical.
Harvey faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy and more.
Police are still on the lookout for two others involved in the shooting.
