PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Detectives are trying to identify seven alleged robbers who attacked a 20-year-old man and stole his belongings last week near Temple University in North Philadelphia.
It happened around 6 p.m. on May 26 near Broad Street and Susquehanna Avenue. Police said the suspects jumped the victim from behind, then punched and kicked him.
The victim eventually fell to the ground, and that’s when the group swiped his bag, which contained his IDs and credit and debit cards.
Investigators released surveillance video of the crew standing in the stairwell of a SEPTA stop. Police said the group is made up of males in their teens or 20s.
