PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 14-year-old is in extremely critical condition after he was shot in West Philadelphia Sunday night.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. near Master and Allison streets.
“Upon arrival, we discovered a 14-year-old young man who was shot in the chest and also in the hand,” said Inspector D.F. Pace. “We believe, however, that the hand injury may be from the same bullet penetrating the hand and into the chest.”
Investigators also found a trail of blood on Master Street that continued down Allison Street.
Police haven’t identified any suspects, but they said another teen was spotted running away from the scene.
