PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman and four children are in the hospital after being hit by a car in Northeast Philadelphia Friday night.
Philadelphia police said the woman, a 6-year-old girl, 5-year-old girl, 4-year-old boy, and 3-year-old girl were hit by a burgundy Chrysler 300 on Marple Street, just off Torresdale Avenue in Holmesburg, around 6 p.m.
The 4-year-old boy is in critical condition. The other victims sustained minor injuries and are listed in stable condition.
One person is in custody, and the Chrysler has been recovered.
The driver’s identity has not yet been released. The relationship of the victims is not yet known. An investigation is underway.
