Nesmith was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Some of Nesmith’s family members visited the scene Monday morning, saying this has been a shock to the entire family.
Police said they are looking for a black 2020-2023 Dodge Charger Hellcat or Scat Pack Widebody with possible damage to the passenger side and windshield.
