PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a woman who they say assaulted another woman earlier this month at her place of business in Harrowgate.
On Thursday, June 8, just before noon, the owner of a business on Castor Avenue near Emerald Street asked a woman she believed to be loitering to move along, according to officials.
The woman got into an argument with the victim, and then authorities say she pulled out a canister and sprayed a chemical in the business owner's face. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
The 51-year-old victim was treated by medics and is expected to be OK.
Police have released pictures of her, hopeful someone can identify her. Police advise anyone who encounters this person in public: Do not approach. call 911 immediately.
